The NorthBay VacaValley Hospital Campus opened in 1987, where acres of fruit orchards once grew. Back then, the hospital was still surrounded by greenery, but today, homes, a fire station and a shopping center are its closest neighbors. The front of hospital once featured a covered walkway.

Was it really only 25 years ago that a prune orchard in rural Vacaville gave birth to NorthBay VacaValley Hospital? Yes, time flies, when you’re saving lives and advancing medicine.
