Surviving cancer is certainly something to celebrate and survivors and their families have two ways to do just that in June.

Genentech and the Sacramento River Cats are again supporting the NorthBay Cancer Center with its “Strike Out Cancer” fundraising event at the Raley Field ballpark on Sat., June 6. Genentech has pledged to donate $100 for every strike out a River Cats pitcher throws this season, up to $25,000.

NorthBay Cancer Center is also proud to sponsor Solano County’s 19th annual Cancer Survivors Day “Celebration of Life,” Sunday, June 7, at The Clubhouse Rancho Solano in Fairfield. Pre-registration is required. Check www.NorthBay.org for details on both events.
